Description

From backpacking trips to car camping excursions, the Boost 650 0°C provides the dreamy comfort you need to sleep well outdoors. With an innovative design that allows you to adjust its shape and add warmth when needed, the Boost is one of the most comfortable and versatile sleeping bags ever made.

The semi-rectangular shape gives you considerably more internal space than a mummy bag... you’ll feel unrestricted and free to sleep in whatever position you want all night long. But more space demands more body heat to warm it up and cold isn’t comfortable. That’s where WarmZip comes in. Zipping up the WarmZip center zipper transforms the shape of the Boost 650 from a semi-rectangular bag to a thermally efficient mummy bag. It pulls the 650-fill down around your body and reduces the amount of space your body needs to heat.

WarmZip gives you the power to add up to 10F/6C to the Boost’s temperature rating. Standard Therm-a-Rest features like a puffy draft collar, a draft tube along the entry zipper line and a cinchable hood round out the Boost’s bliss-inducing comfort.

Details

  • 0°C rating
  • WarmZip™ Tech
  • Multi-Use Arm Holes
  • Plush & Puffy: 650-fill RDS-certified hydrophobic down
  • Eco-Conscious Materials
  • Compression Sack and Stuff Sack included

Care

  • Use a front‑loading washing machine or hand‑wash. Avoid a top‑loader with a central agitator.
  • Use a down‑specific cleaner (for down‑filled bags) such as Nikwax Down Wash™ (especially for hydrophobic down).
  • Cold water, gentle/delicate cycle, and run two rinses. Optionally add an extra spin cycle to remove excess water.
  • Dry thoroughly: hang‑dry if possible (24‑48 hrs or more) OR tumble dry in a large dryer on low heat. Using 2‑4 new tennis balls helps break up down clumps. Check frequently to avoid overheating.
  • After cleaning, store your bag loosely (not compressed) in a cool dry place. Using the larger storage sack (rather than the tight stuff sack) helps preserve loft.

Extra Tips and Warnings...

  • Washing too often or incorrectly can reduce the bag’s water‑repellent down treatment.
  • Avoid dry‑cleaning, bleach, fabric softeners, or ironing.
  • Let your body oils, dirt, and grime build up only minimally before washing—only do a full wash when you notice the loft is being reduced.
  • After drying, it can help to let the bag sit in a ventilated space (or a bit in the sun if appropriate) to ensure all residual moisture is gone.

Coming Soon: Rumpl
We’ve always said that the best adventures happen when kids are comfortable outdoors — and Rumpl makes that possible in the cosiest way. Their blankets are made from recycled materials (each one saves dozens of plastic bottles from landfill), designed to handle sand, dirt, rain, and campfire nights, all while keeping little explorers snug.

For us, Rumpl fits right in at Trailsprout because it’s about more than just warmth. It’s about giving families gear that’s practical, sustainable, and encourages time spent outside together. Whether it’s a campout in the backyard or a chilly weekend up in the High Country, Rumpl helps create those moments where kids feel safe, warm, and free to enjoy the outdoors.
