The Base Mat Ultra IXPE is a lightweight, no-fuss sleeping mat designed to add comfort and insulation between you and the ground. With an R-value of 1.9, it’s ideal for summer camping, school camps and fair-weather hikes — and in cooler conditions, it works brilliantly as a protective layer under an inflatable mat to boost warmth and durability.
Made from moulded IXPE closed-cell foam, it’s durable, water-resistant and tough enough for rough terrain. The aluminium-coated surface reflects radiant body heat, while the raised contouring traps warm air in pockets beneath you for improved insulation and comfort. The accordion-style design folds down quickly and straps easily to the outside of a pack, ready to roll out in seconds... or partially unfold as a seat for trail breaks.
