Remember when being a kid meant endless afternoons outside?
Climbing trees until your arms were scratched, turning over rocks to see what was hiding, coming home with muddy knees, sandy hair, or pockets full of “treasures.”

That’s the kind of childhood we want our kids to have... and it’s why we started Trailsprout.

Who We Are

We’re a young family on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria. We’ve always loved the outdoors: hiking, swimming, camping, scuba diving (back before kids came along!). Now with a little Trailsprout of our own, the adventure continues.

Launching this business has been a huge effort - late nights, lots of learning, plenty of (good, sometimes bad) coffee - but we’re here, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Why Trailsprout?

Because kids deserve better gear. Too often, outdoor clothing for kids is flimsy, poorly made, or full of nasties we wouldn’t want near our little ones. For so many of the "big guys", it's an afterthought.

At Trailsprout, everything we stock is:

  • Ethical — made with care for the people who craft it.

  • Ready for Adventure — because puddle jumping is serious business.

The Gear (So Far)

Our range is small right now, but every piece has been carefully chosen. Brands like Ducksday, who make Oeko-Tex certified, sustainable rainwear for kids, set the tone for what Trailsprout is all about: functional, ethical, and fun.

This is just the beginning — as we grow, so will our range.

What’s Next?

We don’t want to be the biggest outdoor kids’ store in Australia. We want to be the best one. A place families trust, where every purchase tells a story and supports a better way of doing things.
